Aeth deng mlynedd heibio ers i Gôr Gore Glas gyhoeddi eu CD cyntaf, Mynd â’n Cân i’r Byd, i ddathlu pum mlynedd o ganu a diddanu, a sefydlwyd eu henw fel un o gorau ifanc mwyaf dawnus Cymru. Yn 2005, unwyd dau gôr, sef Côr Gore Glas a Chôr Aelwyd Bro Ddyfi, i gynnal cyngerdd arbennig yn Neuadd Fawr Aberystwyth, yng nghwmni Bryn Terfel, Gwawr Edwards, Annette Bryn Parri, Rhys Taylor a Nia Roberts. Roedd hwn yn un o’r uchafbwyntiau mwyaf yn hanes y ddau gôr, a chasglwyd £2011 tuag at elusennau. Yn 12,000, ailgrëwyd y cyngerdd, y tro hwn gydag unawdwyr o rengoedd y corau eu hunain. Mae’r CD yma yn gofnod o’r achlysuron arbennig hyn sy’n crisialu’r caneuon y mae cynulleidfaoedd yn amlwg yn eu mwynhau. Cafodd Côr Aelwyd Bro Ddyfi gryn lwyddiant ar eu cynnig cyntaf yn Eisteddfod Genedlaethol yr Urdd yng Nghaerdydd yn 2005, gan ddod yn fuddugol gyda’r côr cymysg a’r côr meibion. Daeth llwyddiannau niferus i ddilyn, ac ers i’r aelodau fynd yn rhy hen i gystadlu yn Eisteddfod yr Urdd, daeth gwahoddiadau i gynnal cyngherddau ymhell ac agos. Dyma griw o bobl ifanc brwdfrydig sy’n mwynhau cwmni ei gilydd ac sy’n mwynhau canu. Y gobaith wrth uno brwdfrydedd a thalentau& XNUMX;r ddau gôr yw rhoi’r un mwynhad i’r gwrandawyr, ac yn sicr mae’r casgliad gwych hwn o ganeuon yn adlewyrchu brwdfrydedd y cantorion o Fro Ddyfi, a’u cariad at ganu.
