Cerddwn Ymlaen has now become a national event in the true sense of the word, with walkers from all corners of Wales joining us on the walk, and the response from individuals, companies and organisations has been amazing. As a result I am confident that we will raise thousands of pounds for this special charity again this year.

The response I have mentioned and experienced is again evident in this project, which has culminated in the recording of two songs to promote and raise awareness of Cerddwn Ymlaen. My thanks go to Elin Fflur and Lucie Jones for agreeing to sing duets with me, and also to Jonathan Mann and The Cardiff Sinfonietta for the wonderful accompaniment to the two songs. I’d also like to thank John Quirk for the orchestration, Tŷ Cerdd for recording, mixing and mastering the tracks and to Sain Records for recording the vocals, processing and releasing the CD.

The enthusiasm and generosity of all the people involved in this project has been overwhelming, especially in these difficult times when goodwill is not always easy to come by, but all these people’s contributions have been completely voluntary for the Wales Air Ambulance.
